Battery #12

This turret battery was built in a hundred meters north of the Rindo-redoubt in 1898-1903. This is one of the first installation of this type constructed in Sweden. A rooms for powder magazines, shelter, staff etc., were arranged in the granite massive with guns in turrets mounted mounted atop of it. The battery was surrounded by a deep moat as antipersonnel defence.
