Medieval skyscraper

There are few such medieval skyscrapers of 12-13 centuries can be find closer to the port. Once Visby town was fabulously rich and densely populated and there were much more such houses. Offices and shops were on the first and second floors, above - residential apartments and warehouses on the upper floors. On the facade a crane-beam is visible. It was intended for lift the goods to the warehouses.
