Citadel

Under the Crusaders, the Citadel was located here - a fortress inside the fortress. In 1265, the last Europeans left these shores in this place, after the Mamluks captured the fortress with a surprise attack. Now, on the ancient ruins, there is a fashionable restaurant overlooking the sea.
