Pillars - CaesareaNext photo - 158 kb

The photo shows the remains of the colonnade of the courtyard of the building of the public baths of Caesarea. Among such columns, ancient Roman citizens spent their leisure time during the hot hours of the day.
According to some hypotheses, somewhere in these baths, the Apostle Paul baptized a certain local centurion named Cornelius - the first non-Jewish Christian in the world history.
