Prison cells were damp and cold. If a prisoner fell ill, he was transferred to a separate chamber for convalescent. It was slightly warmer and less wet, and he does not appear on the work. Medical treatment was very limited. In the picture a prison cell with disassembled ceilings, which divided it into two floors, is shown. The room has a fine collection of ancient cart-wheels.
