Powder magazine

Artillery Yard is it's name. It was built in 1733. From 1825 it began to be used as a prison for more than two hundred prisoners. In 1848, the prisoners were transferred to the Akershus fortress in Christiania - Oslo, and here they first set up a garrison infirmary, then again a warehouse.
