Some foreword
"Northern Fortress" is not an academic resource dedicated to fortifications, artillery, historical studies of national antiquities, etc. There are no systematic photocatalogue of fortifications or local history guide. No again! This site is the result of the unemployment holidays in the summer 2001-20.. all around of of St.Petersburg for new adventures and experiences, no more...
