Vorotnaja tower
View of the tower from Boyarshij Gorod. The remains of the wall dismounted after Perednij Gorod construction is seen on the right. Mark the addition with big hole and arc to the tower on the right. So called "mantrap" with drawbridge was arranged in the place of wall and tower connection. When an enemy plunged to the wall the drawbridge was lifted and tower isolated from the wall.
