St.Sergij and St.Nikandr Church

There was the wooden St.Sergij Radonezhskij Church in the fortress in the beginning of XIV century. It was demolished by fire in XVIII and new church (seen on the photo) was erected near to the fortress at the(market place and buildings surrounded it). Famous Russian painter I.Grabar writes, that "it is creature of not a wise mind, but genuine and warm emotion..." He was right I should say.
