Traces of war

Traces of bullets on the wall of a house lined with 'Jerusalem stone'. Apparently these are traces of the Six Day War. The fortress walls and all houses in Jerusalem are built or faced with Mizit Yeudit limestone, quarried from nearby quarries. During the British Mandate, a law was established according to which only this material could be used for city facades.
