Kastelholm Castle, where is it?

...on the Åland Islands in Finland.

There are no short and easy ways there, but we do not look them! Finland, distant and close calls ...!

We're going to Finland now, and there - by ferry from Helsinki or Turku right to Marienhamn city. Another interesting way from Turku to the NW to the town Kustavi, and thence by the local ferry. You'll need to sail to Hummelvik on Åland, and then will be near to 20 km to destination point. There could be a bus (summer only). From the Marienhamn you can take a bus (or bike) till Kastelholm. The 30 km distance for the traveler with an awl in his ass is not the big distance.
