Traces of hasty repairs

The bunker was about 100 yards from the enemy front line trenches. It was repaired it under enemy fire with protection by a specially built earth berm, using all sorts of materials. The armored shot-gun shield, as a patch on the wall of the Bunker is seen on the photo.
