Church

Evangelical - Lutheran Church of Kakisalmi was built by the project of Finnish architect A. Lindgren in 1930. It housed a wonderful 32-voice organ in that prewar times. Under Soviet there were was the base of special detachment of NKVD, a warehouse, a club with a discoteca. "City's cultural center" is situated here nowadays.
