Eastern facade of the Fort

British built on the mandated territory 62 pieces of forts, many of them survived and most of them are used as police stations and prisons to this day, something they abandoned (fort in Abu Ghosh near Jerusalem), in some cases they consists of museums (Fort Yoav) . Fort Mukataa in Rammalah was Yasser Arafat residence, where he was besieged by the IDF (Israel Defense Forces).
