Blagoveschenskaya tower

It is defends a southern side of the fortress. All the walls and towers are covered by copper sheets, as you can see. It is unusual for the russian monasteries. All such materials as brass, copper etc. were stripped in 1930-th by notorious Rudmetalltorg (Metal and Mineral Trading Organization) in favour of Soviets.
