Powder cellars

The fort was restored in 1830-th. In 1844 big reconstruction works begun at the fort under the project of architect Destrom. Fort was not finished during the Crimean War of 1853-56-th but was armed by 170 guns. In that times fort was renamed as Pavel (Paul I). In 1859 construction works were finished. Fort Pavel had more than 200 guns and became the biggest and mightiest fort of the Kronstadt fortress of that time.
