Western curtain

The construction of the new fort lasted 7 years and was finished in 1834. On September 7 of the same year, by an imperial decree, the fort was renamed as 'Emperor Peter I'. The picture shows a two-storey brick wing in the central part of the eastern curtain, built in 1904.
