Tenal von Fersen

Part of the inner ring of Engineer Island fortifications, bordering the southern side of the dock. The tenal is long and has many interior spaces and casemates. Construction began in 1750. In 1759, a drainage machine for the dock was installed, driven by two pairs of horses.
