Barracks #20

Under the Russians, the tenali casemates were converted into soldiers' barracks. During the Crimean War, the top floor was badly damaged by shelling, but was restored. In 1918, the Red Finns were kept in these casemates, and then there were warehouses for tools and materials for the Valmet Oy company, which was engaged in the construction and repair of ships in the dock.
