Hyve Bastion

The bastion dominates over the Artillery Strait. It is impossible for the enemy to sail safe through the strait without receiving a cannonball to enemy ship, or a row of musket balls from these impregnable walls. The bastion was founded in 1754, but then Ehrensvärd left for the Seven Years' War and all construction in Sveaborg stopped.
