Built in 1753–1756 during the first stage of development of the Main Courtyard. It is the oldest surviving stone residential building, not only in Sveaborg, but in all of Helsingfors. Here were the apartments of senior officers of the garrison and naval officers serving the dock. The house underwent some changes in 1870–1871 and in 1906. In the 1950s, this was the apartment of the chief curator of the Finnish Archaeological Commission. At the present time, it is an ordinary residential building.
