German Type IIA U-boats were identical to "Vesikko". Advantages of such boats were ability to sail in shallow waters, agile diving, and being more difficult to spot it because of tiny size and low tower. Type II U-boats usially serves as training ships and for patrol near the coast lines. Apropos, 6 such boats were conveyed by Germans in Black Sea in 1942.
