Sveaborg fortress

Vallisaari Island (aka Alexandrovskiy) once in the 1870-80 biennium was one of the most fortified places in all Sveaborg fortress, and no wonder: it had 9 large-caliber guns batteries. It is located a few dozen meters from the island of Kuustanmiekka (aka Artillerijskiy) and together with it's batteries could control the Strait of Gustavus Sverd (aka Kustaanmiekka).
