King Oskar II
The castle entrance arch is decorated with the monogram of Swedish king Oskar II. Dates represent the period 1897-1900 of the construction of the fort. By this time, it became clear that the Oscar Fredriksborg's fortifications become insufficient for the defense of fairway and there is needed a new engineering solution.
