Norderport tower

Norderport, how easily you can guess, means nothing more than the Northern Gate. Powerful three-floor structure protects one of the important roads of Gotland island. Loopholes were reconstructed in 1710 during the Great Northern War, when the inhabitants of Visby were ready to repel the attacks of the Russian Cossacks.
