Minaret

A minaret was built on this tower in 1635 under the Mamelukes. At the same time, a mosque was built in the tower. The minaret itself is called now as 'Tower of David'. Bullet holes are clearly visible on the walls. This is not in vain, this tower is an excellent observation point in case of some kind of mess in the city...
