The territory of the Krasnogvardeisky UR almost all was under occupation since 1941-1944, and the Germans managed to build a significant number of objects of long-term fortification there. Not everything has survived to this day, but there is something to be on the ground, and it would not be right to circumvent these objects with our attention.

The Club of History and Fortification (KIF) (St. Petersburg) held several Voluntary works or subbotniks at the objects of the Krasnogvardeisky UR in order to bring at least some of them into the relative order. The works accepted numerous volunteers from St. Petersburg and its environs.
