There is a forest on the island quite thick and sometimes even wild. The picture shows the road from battery N6 toward the eastern coast of the island. Everything south of this road is forbidden to visit, and there are numerous yellow plaques along the right side of the road threatening severe punishment for violators. It is a pity, there are three another batteries in the southern part of the island, among them so-called very interesting 'Gadolinskaya' battery No. 8 named so after Russian artillery engineer Gadolin.
