Descent into the Castle basement

At the end of October 1917, A. Kerensky, a Chairman of the Provisional Government, who had fled from the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg, arrived at the Gatchina Palace along with officers of the third cavalry Cossack corps. On November 1, a revolutionary sailor delegation led by P. Dybenko came to Gatchina and demanded the unconditional surrender of Kerensky.
