War monument at the entrance to Lappeenranta city

Near the road to Jensuu, there is a monument in honor of the 'Veterans who fought for an independent Finland'. In the background, you can see the Finnish M/43 machine-gun and observation armored dome, which usually were installed on the bunkers of the Salpa Line.
