Ship's bell

Ship's bell from the patrol boat 'Rulevoy' (Helmsman). At first, she was a steam wheeled tug named 'Apollo', built in Kiev in 1912. She participated in the Civil War of 1918-1921 on the side of the Reds, as well as in the Soviet-Polish War of 1920. During the Second World War, already under a new name, as part of the Pripyat detachment of river ships, she participated in the battles on the Pripyat River, then broke through to Kiev from the Chernobyl area. At the end of August, the she sank after an artillery battle with the Germans near the village of Domontovo.
