The city of Kronstadt

This is how the city of Kronstadt looked on a frosty January evening from the roof of the Powder Fort. The view is quite gloomy. No wonder this place was once called 'Northern Sakhalin'. The Far Eastern island of Sakhalin was the most terrible place of penal servitude in tsarist Russia.
