Inner Harbour

The fort has a horseshoe shape with an inner harbour. There is a pier with bollards (cast-iron figs for tying sea vessels), clearly visible in the picture. The picture also shows the remains of a sea vessel, which, as can be assumed, was not well attached to these very bollards.
