The wall
Casemates of right flank of the fort. You can get to the casemates of the low floor from the deep ditch in front of the rear wall of the battery. To upper floor casemates led a special metal bridges which could be removed in emergency. The moat, therefore, served as additional protection for the casemates from the rear.
