View of Kronstadt from the gun casemate

View from the casemate of the right flank to the fort on the island of Kotlin and Kronstadt. If you look closely, you can see the dome of the Naval Cathedral on the horizon. The condition of the casemate, as I have already written, is deplorable, but a few years ago a new roof was made on this battery. When the cannons were stationed here, this wall with windows and a door was not there, and the casemate was open from the rear to ventilate from the powder smoke.
