Fort No3, Forts No.3 (Kronstadt: North Forts )

Fort No3

Fort No3

General view of the fort is on the photo. The fort was decommissioned in 1886 and no further significant construction work was carried out on it, except for a shelter for a roll-out searchlight and a couple of machine gun bunkers. On the right side of the picture you can see one such bunker built in the 1930s and an old granite pier for unloading supplies and ammunition (in the old days, communication with the fort was exclusively by sea).
